Glasses have always been his peculiarity, In time they made him into a character, and from simply being a lover and enthusiast of this accessory, he decided to invest his devotion and time to create his personal eyewear collection. His first designs have a planetary influence, inspired by his name, where each design represents a planet or a satellite. Sophisticated investigator of style and trends, he brings attention to small details that define the product’s value, demonstrating his genius and originality. The eyewear becomes an accessory which enhances beauty as well as the quirks and peculiarities that make us unique.
In design, as well as in music, it’s essential to start from the basics. With the same care with which one learns to read music, one chooses the raw material, which will form the fundamental basis for the creation of a valuable product. Precious materials are chosen for each piece of Saturnino Eye Wear’s Collection, starting from superior quality acetate, rigorously made in Italy. The acetate is carefully worked on by skilled and expert craftsmen in the district of Cadore, birthplace of Italian eyewear. Step by step they mould and form a unique, timeless product, with the same care and creativity with which a musician writes his music.
The glasses in the collection are produced with Mazzucchelli acetate, world leader in production and distribution of acetate since 1849. The lenses are also characterised for their quality, guaranteeing UVA/UVB protection, respecting the most resctrictive international norms. Another important feature is the ophthalmic lenses’ adaptability, they can be assembled on all pieces of the collection.
